ARE WE LIVING IN A COMPUTER SIMULATION?

What is Simulation?

The term simulation is used in different ways by different people. As used here, simulation is defined as the process of creating a model (i.e., an abstract representation or facsimile) of an existing or proposed system (e.g., a project, a business, a mine, a watershed, a forest, the organs in your body) in order to identify and understand those factors which control the system and/or to predict (forecast) the future behavior of the system. Almost any system which can be quantitatively described using equations and/or rules can be simulated.

The Purpose of Simulation

The underlying purpose of simulation is to shed light on the underlying mechanisms that control the behavior of a system. More practically, simulation can be used to predict (forecast) the future behavior of a system, and determine what you can do to influence that future behavior. That is, simulation can be used to predict the way in which the system will evolve and respond to its surroundings, so that you can identify any necessary changes that will help make the system perform the way that you want it to.

Example

For example, a fisheries biologist could dynamically simulate the salmon population in a river in order to predict changes to the population, and quantitatively understand the impacts on the salmon of possible actions (e.g., fishing, loss of habitat) to ensure that they do not go extinct at some point in the future

Well, what if it is? What if this life is just a simulation of the real thing? What if you, in an incredibly meta act, are reading this on a computer while residing inside of a computer? Once inserted, the thought niggles away at us—we can’t think our way out of this quagmire. “What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?” asks Morpheus in The Matrix. Dude.
But now researchers say they've sussed out the whole situation for us. Theoretical physicists Zohar Ringel and Dmitry Korvizhini, who are based at Racah Institute of Physics Hebrew University in Israel and Oxford University in the United Kingdom, claim to prove the concreteness of our reality in a recent Scientific Advances study.
To understand what they found, it helps to first recognize what a computer is: it's essentially a machine that performs calculations. In order for a computer to simulate reality, then, the machine would need to have enough power to actually create the phenomena that we experience within its simulated environment. What the researchers discovered, however, is that storing the information required to simulate certain behaviors of even a couple hundred electrons would take more atoms than exist in the universe. For better or for worse, this world is real. Probably.

the quantum Hall effect. The regular Hall effect (normally just called the Hall effect) explains how, under the right circumstances, metals can display some interesting electrical behaviors. For example, if you take a a metal bar and send a current flowing through it, you expect electrons to keep moving straight ahead in the direction of the current. But when you apply a magnetic field perpendicularly to the current, the Hall effect predicts that the electrons will turn and start moving perpendicularly to both the current’s original direction and the magnetic field. The quantum Hall effect takes the standard Hall even further: when you take conductive material into an environment that’s both very cold (near Absolute Zero, or -459.67 F), and has a strong magnetic field, particles behave even more oddly. Kovrizhi and Ringel were trying to get a better grasp on why.

Two plus two is pretty easy to solve (the answer, in case you’re wondering, is four). These sorts of equations are fine for relatively simple systems—we can do them with a calculator, if not in our minds. But these kinds of easy calculations start to break down when dealing with the weird quantum behavior that occurs at the very very small (we’re talking about systems smaller than the goings on of individual atoms) level. There are more unknowns—and you can have an infinite number of particles interacting. That’s what is known as the many body problem.

“When you do physics and you don’t know how to solve something, you say, maybe I can just have my computer solve it for me and that will give me some intuition,” Ringel told Popular Science. So he and his colleague turned to quantum Monte Carlo, a family of computational methods that use random sampling to study complex quantum systems that can’t be solved directly. But the researchers discovered that for every particle they added to the system, the simulation became exponentially more complex. It essentially doubled in complexity with each new particle (not unlike the reproductive rate of a tribble), making the problem unresolvable.
It's not that people hadn't attempted to solve for quantum Hall before.
People have tried solving it using laptops, and big clusters of computers. Ringel and Kovirzhi didn't necessarily expect to succeed, but they hoped to figure out why it had never been done. It could be that humans aren't smart enough, or that physicists just haven't yet found the right mathematical mapping. The new study makes it clear that it's just not possible to simulate the effect. And to the study authors, that suggests it would be impossible for a computer to create our world.

Simulation Hypothesis

While many people take reality at face value, others believe the far more intriguing theory that we are living in a computer simulation. It’s a concept straight out of “The Matrix” (though its origin reaches much further back), and one of its supporters is Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.

Musk elaborated on the idea during the interview:

The strongest argument for us being in a simulation, probably being in a simulation, is the following: 40 years ago, we had Pong, two rectangles and a dot…That is what games were. Now, 40 years later, we have photorealistic 3D simulations with millions of people playing simultaneously, and it’s getting better every year. And soon we’ll have virtual reality, augmented reality. If you assume any rate of improvement at all, the games will become indistinguishable from reality.

The contemporary version of the simulation hypothesis was introduced by Nicholas Bostrom, a British philosopher, in 2003. Simply put, the hypothesis states that there is a likelihood that advanced future civilizations would run equally advanced computer simulations of past civilizations. So, much like we play video games about ancient populations, they might do something similar, just much more technologically advanced. Some people even think that the events of the 2017 Oscars are proof of this theory.

Ringel and Kovrizhi showed that attempts to use quantum Monte Carlo to model systems exhibiting anomalies, such as the quantum Hall effect, will always become unworkable.

RECOMMENDED

Science cannot tell us if we’re living in The Matrix
PHYSICS
They discovered that the complexity of the simulation increased exponentially with the number of particles being simulated.

If the complexity grew linearly with the number of particles being simulated, then doubling the number of particles would mean doubling the computing power required. If, however, the complexity grows on an exponential scale – where the amount of computing power has to double every time a single particle is added – then the task quickly becomes impossible.

The researchers calculated that just storing information about a couple of hundred electrons would require a computer memory that would physically require more atoms than exist in the universe.

The researchers note that there are a number of other known quantum interactions for which predictive algorithms have not yet been found. They suggest that for some of these they may in fact never be found.

“Who knows what are the computing capabilities of whatever simulates us?”

If you, me and every person and thing in the cosmos were actually characters in some giant computer game, we would not necessarily know it. The idea that the universe is a simulation sounds more like the plot of “The Matrix,” but it is also a legitimate scientific hypothesis.

VIRTUAL MINDS

A popular argument for the simulation hypothesis came from University of Oxford philosopher Nick Bostrum in 2003, when he suggested that members of an advanced civilization with enormous computing power might decide to run simulations of their ancestors. They would probably have the ability to run many, many such simulations, to the point where the vast majority of minds would actually be artificial ones within such simulations, rather than the original ancestral minds. So simple statistics suggest it is much more likely that we are among the simulated minds.

LIFE, THE UNIVERSE AND EVERYTHING

If it turns out we really are living in a version of “The Matrix,” though—so what? “Maybe we’re in a simulation, maybe we’re not, but if we are, hey, it’s not so bad,” Chalmers said.
“My advice is to go out and do really interesting things,” Tegmark said, “so the simulators don’t shut you down.”
But some were more contemplative, saying the possibility raises some weighty spiritual questions. “If the simulation hypothesis is valid then we open the door to eternal life and resurrection and things that formally have been discussed in the realm of religion,” Gates suggested. “The reason is quite simple: If we’re programs in the computer, then as long as I have a computer that’s not damaged, I can always re-run the program.”
And if someone somewhere created our simulation, would that make this entity God? “We in this universe can create simulated worlds and there’s nothing remotely spooky about that,” Chalmers said. “Our creator isn’t especially spooky, it’s just some teenage hacker in the next universe up.” Turn the tables, and we are essentially gods over our own computer creations. “We don’t think of ourselves as deities when we program Mario, even though we have power over how high Mario jumps,” Tyson said. “There’s no reason to think they’re all-powerful just because they control everything we do.” And a simulated universe introduces another disturbing possibility. “What happens,” Tyson said, “if there’s a bug that crashes the entire program?”

So you can think that are we really living in a simulated world?....

So be in the next part about computer simulation.

A new definition of "TIME"

Time is something we deal with every day, and something that everyone thinks they understand. However, a compact and robust definition of time has proved to be remarkably tricky and elusive.
Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events that occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future.Time is a component quantity of various measurements used to sequence events, to compare the duration of events or the intervals between them, and to quantify rates of change of quantities in material reality or in the conscious experience.Time is often referred to as a fourth dimension.
Time is one of the seven fundamental physical quantities in both the International System of Units and International System of Quantities. Time has long been an important subject of study in religion, philosophy, and science,

There are several different definition of time.

* the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present and future regarded as a whole (Oxford Dictionary)

* the measured or measurable period during which an action, process or condition exists or continues (Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary)

* the continuous passage of existence in which events pass from a state of potentiality in the future, through the present, to a state of finality in the past (World English Dictionary)

* a continuous, measurable quantity in which events occur in a sequence proceeding from the past through the present to the future (Science Dictionary)

* the measured or measurable period during which an action, process or condition exists or continues (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

* the dimension of the physical universe that orders the sequence of events at a given place (McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology)

* a non-spatial system in which events appear to happen in irreversible succession (WordSmyth Dictionary)

* the inevitable progression into the future with the passing of present events into the past (Wiktionary)

*the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole (Google)

Different Aspects

Clearly time is not an object or substance we can touch or see. But neither is it merely a dimension, quantity or a concept. Indeed, time has many aspects and appears to represent different things to different people in different circumstances.

I am going to provide a new definition of time

Yes new definition of time

Yes we gonna find it together.

What is time the vibration of cs-133 atom or it is the interval between the two event .
If I say I have something new for you then.
What do you believe ...

If I tell you use a new formula of time
We have conventional formula
T= displacement/ velocity
Don't use this ......

Use a new formula
Motion= distance/ velocity

Motion ( it is relative motion of an earth) .

What is velocity rate of doing motion
As you can see
Let's refer motion as" m"
Distance as "d "
Velocity as "v"
So m is directly proportional to the distance..
So as the distance is increase the rate of motion will also increases ..
You know that everything is fixed the distance between sun and earth 149,642,000 km have speed of 30km/sec and revolution in elliptical order with distance of 840 million km and one of the most important" time is fixed " is 365.256days ...

So what I am going to say is if you increase the distance then RELATIVE MOTION OF AN EARTH IS INCREASED .

If you increase the velocity the rate of doing MOTION is decreases ....

Means

Time = relative motion of yourself with respect to the relative motion of an earth

T = (relative motion of an object)/(relative motion of an earth)

as you also know that if velocity is increases then when it is approaches to speed of light (c~v) then
Time will be not defined ..
As increase of velocity there will be time dilation...

So now what is new definition of time

Your relative motion with respect to the motion of an earth...

This approach can be used if you want to create time machine..
Is written in the pic ....

THIS IS D.P THIS IS MY OWN IDEA NO BUDDY CAN CLAIM IN THIS IDEA
I KNOW CAN IT BE WRONG BUT I WANT TO GIVE YOU NEW DIRECTION WITH NEW IDEA.
This approach have a video soon in YouTube..

TIME TRAVEL & PARALLEL UNIVERSE

Welcome to the UNIVERSAL SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS FoR U.

Time travel's been one of man's wildest fantasies for centuries. It's long been a popular trend in movies and fiction,

A topic which Everyone wants to know

Travelling forwards in time is surprisingly easy. Einstein’s special theory of relativity, developed in 1905, shows that time passes at different rates for people who are moving relative to one another - although the effect only becomes large when you get close to the speed of light.

If one were to leave Earth in a spacecraft travelling at an appreciable fraction of lightspeed, turn around and come back, only a few years might have passed on board but many years could have gone by on Earth. This is known as the " twin paradox" ,
since a traveller undertaking such a journey would return to find herself much younger than her twin.

There’s only one problem from anyone wishing to get a glimpse of the future – getting back. It would mean travelling faster than light
 and that’s not possible.

But there may be an out to be found in general relativity, Einstein’s theory of gravity that unites space and time as “spacetime”, which curves in the presence of mass. It allows for the possibility of wormhole
a kind of tunnel through spacetime connecting otherwise very distant parts of the universe.

If the “mouths” of the wormhole are moving relative to one another, then traversing the bridge between different points in space would also take a traveller to a different point in time to that in which she started.

However it would still be impossible to go back further in time than the point at which the wormhole was created, limiting the options for travel somewhat - and possibly explaining why we haven’t encountered any visitors from the future. If any natural wormholes were formed in the Big Bang, it might be possible to travel to a limited number of points in the past and in the distant universe, but wouldn’t enable one to flit around the cosmos at will as the Doctor seems to do.
Albert Einstein laid the groundwork for much of the theoretical science that governs most time travel research today.
As we about time travel very and what is time dilation

Time dilation basically refers to the idea that time passes more slowly for a moving clock than it does for a stationary clock. The force of gravity also affects the difference in elapsed time. The greater the gravity and the greater the velocity, the greater the difference in time.

MULTIVERSE

You never died because you are made of atoms.. your existence always remain in the universe...
By d.p

We are going to understand the highly specified controversial Theory, if we go beyond the earth milky way and other distinct galaxies, we may find that our universe is not the only universe but instead part of the vast complex of the universes that we called MULTIVERSES
Now the idea of multiverse is strange one mean most of raise to believe that universe means everything . But it is strange to believe that multiverse is exist and these multiverse have different fundamental properties different dimensions.

At 1929 great astronomer ediwin hubble realized that distinct galaxies are rushing away from each other, it's expanding. This was the revolutionary idea but know that universe was static and expansion must be slowing down, that is much as the gravitational pull of the earth slows the an coin tossed upward the gravitational pull of each galaxy on other must be slowing the expansion must be slowing down. Now let's go to the nineties when the astronomer they are inspired by this reasonings to measure the to rate at which the expansion has been slowing and they did this by observation of nemrues different galaxies how the expansion rate is changing with time , the surprise is that ,

they found that expansion is not slowing down instead they found it's speeding up faster and faster. Now you want to know why what pushing on it . What Force to rush away all galaxies to each other. Solution of this question comes from the idea of Einstein, that we use gravity as pull object together but Einstein general theory of relativity Gravity can also push things apart . According to the Einstein maths if space is uniformlly filled with invisible energy sort of like a uniform invisible mist then the gravity generated by that mist would be repulsive, repulsive gravity.

Which is just we need to explain the observation because the repulsive gravity of an invisible energy in space we know called it dark energy it is the somky form it is the repulsive gravity causes push each galaxy into other so speed is not slowing down . When they try to find the amount of dark energy they found a very small value. .
Now let think this again by the string theory as in the last article I told you about string theory . If you examine the ball you will find molecules then atoms , subatomic particles,

if you go more inside you will find something special in that little tiny vibrating string just like a string in guitar they vibrates different patterns producing different musical notes, when these strings vibrates they produce different particles electron , proton, quarks, nuetrino all other particles they all are rise by vibrating string. In string theory we know extra dimensions of space. Usually we know about 3-dimension but string theory explain that there are additional dimension with a small size even we can not detected them. In string theory vibration determines everything most importantly amount of dark energy would be determined by the shape of extra dimensions if we knew the shape of extra dimensions we can calculate dark energy. We don't know the shape of extra dimensions . Some taking us to an idea of string theory of multiverse.

May be each of these shapes are really with different dimensions means there are many universe each with different shapes of this extra dimensions.

If there are other universes and if those universes each have different shapes with a extra dimensions then the physical features of these universe will be different and in particular and amount of dark energy in each universe will be different. Very important thing is that why we are finding dark energy in the universe instead of other things. Solution is that those universe have much more dark energy than ours whenever matter try to clump into galaxies the repulsive push off the dark energy so strong that it makes everything apart . And those universes have less amount of dark energy they will collapse back on them so quickly and galaxy won't form . Without galaxies no stars, no sun, no planets no chance to existence of our form of life to exist on those universes. So we are finding dark energy because our universe has provide us our form of life with particular dark energy. And after that idea of multiverse is strong. Here comes to big bang theory everyone knows about it but there was not a single bang many big bang taken place

simultaneously each giving rise it's separate universe with our universe was the one of them like a bubble so there was form many universes . So idea of string theory is that each of the universe have extra dimensions and extra dimensions yields different physical properties and features. so in our universe the amount of dark energy is sufficient for our form of life so as for other universes it would be different. So how we detect the other universes according to this theory when two universes collide with each other they will produce solar patterns .. so in the future we can observe the multiverse. Our universe is not static space is expanding and expanding is spending up. And there might be other universes so in the future as expansion is going on each galaxy will rush away from us so we will only have black sky.

in the future there might be many things about the space will come to us .

"THE STRING THEORY"

Vibration produces everything

It is exist due to the physicists.
Brain Greene

It starts from the curious people.
German mathematician Theodor Franz Eduard Kaluza suggested very bold idea
He proposed our universe might not have only three dimensions but more than three dimensions. There might be some additional dimension but for some reason we don't yet see. When someone made a bold idea people won't believe in that & nothing to do with the world around us.
This particular idea however although whether we don't know right or wrong, but in the future Experiment may tell us right or wrong. This idea made major effect on physics from last century.
I like tell you about that extra dimensions let's go to the 1907 when Einstein discovered the Theory of relatively and try to understand in terms of gravity.
But many people says that Newton has already provided the theory on gravity and that explain the motion of planets, motion of everything around us. But Einstein knows that Newton had left something behind. But Newton knows that it's theory is correct but can't explain each and everything . Just like how does the sun attracted earth how?.
Here comes Einstein tell us how gravity works, Einstein tells us that space is flat as no matter present in there,if matter present in the environment such as the sun causes the fabric of space to work, and that communicate with the force of gravity.

According to these ideas moon is orbiting around the earth,in valley and in contour.
By the virtue of there present,so this the new idea how gravity actually works .

This idea was tested in 1919 through astronomical observation it really works and describes a data and this gained Einstein. Prominent around the world. This what Theodor Franz Eduard Kaluza ( German mathematician) was thinking that he like Einstein searching For unified Theory .
That one theory might be able to describe nature of all forces by one set of ideas , one set of principle, one master equation. Eduard Kaluza was thinking that Einstein been able to understand the gravity in terms of curves in space, infact space & time more precise. May I can play the same game with other known force, which was that time known as the electro magnetic force in terms of curves. So he proposed that there are more dimensions if I need to describe more forces. So he imagined that there are 4 dimensions not 3 .
So when he driveved the equation for four dimensions instead of 3 dimensions he found one more extra equation. So he found the equation that scientist used to describe EM force . So he was very happy that he found unified theory. He took his Theory very seriously. So question arises from his Theory that if there is extra dimension why we can't see them, & does this theory work in detail in practicality. First question was answered in 1926 by mathematician he suggested that dimensions might come in two verities there might be be easy to see dimensions there might be very small dimensions we can't see, it is present around us but we can't. See . If you go inside you will find amazing things that which explains that dimensions exist .
So this is the explanation that how the additional dimension exist .
Let's go to 2nd question does this theory work when you applied in the world around us. Einstein and many scientist work on try to find this frame work applied to physics of the universe. But they won't find the unified theory that explains everything. So here comes the string theory which can explain everything might clear our doubt.the theory which try to understand the basic fundamental individual uncuttable Constituents making up everything in this world around us.

If go inside the Apple you will find molecules then atoms then subatomic particles. Electrons orbiting around the nucleus, with nuetrons and protons even they have smaller particles inside of them known as quarks conventional idea stop there . Here the new idea of string theory

if go inside you will find a vibrating strings and these produces different patterns they don't produce different musical notes rather they produce different particles making up the world around us, vibrating in different frequencies produce the different particles, and different particles are responsible for everything around us, so you will find different particles . gravitons , quarks, electrons are all built up by one place. So if you see the vibrating string it's vibrating but Changes it's dimensions it is difficult to calculate the dimensions so string theory defines that yes extra dimensions exist .

Vibration determines everything.

One of the goals of Physics is to find a single theory that unites all of the four forces of nature. These are; electromagnetism, gravity, and the strong and weak nuclear forces. The first two are familiar. Electromagnetism is the force that holds a fridge magnet to a refrigerator while gravity is trying to pull it off towards the earth.
The strong nuclear force is responsible for holding the central part of atoms (their nuclei) together, while the weak nuclear force is involved in the decay of these nuclei.
In the attempt to tie all the four forces together a lot of interesting ideas and new theories have been proposed. One of the most promising of these new theories is string theory. In attempting to unite gravity with the three other forces, string theory requires us to change the way we view the universe.
According to the theory all particles are actually tiny vibrating strings and each type of vibration corresponds to a different particle. The different particles are like the different notes that can be played by bowing a violin string. However, the strings of string theory almost certainly would not look like violin strings.
String theory also requires us to accept the existence of extra dimensions in the universe. We are familiar with the four usual dimensions: up-down, forwards-backwards, left-right and time, but string theory requires seven more dimensions!

A universe of eleven dimensions seems strange to us but many physicists think these extra dimensions are possible and are looking for ways to detect them.
The attempt to unify the 4 forces of nature is one of the most exciting areas of physics and I hope to be around if this is successful, whether it is string theory or some other candidate that is successful. On the other hand there is the possibility that no single, theory exists that can describe all the forces of nature in a neat and tidy way as we would like.
Whatever the outcome, scientists from all over the world will continue working together to discover what could be the ultimate theory of everything.
String theory can make us understand everything and next part about multiverse.
